Delete your account
FullBoard (fullboard.gg)
You can delete your FullBoard account yourself, at any time, from inside the app — on the web or on Android. It takes about thirty seconds and needs no email to us and no waiting period.
One exception. If your account is under moderation review, deletion is held until the review finishes — otherwise a report could be closed by erasing the thing being reported. This is a pause, not a refusal: the account is deleted once the review clears, and you can ask about a hold at privacy@fullboard.gg.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want to remove some of your information, you do not need to delete your account at all — see removing individual items below.
On Android
- Open FullBoard and sign in.
- Tap Profile in the bottom tab bar.
- Tap the Settings (gear) button.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then confirm again.
On the web
- Go to fullboard.gg and sign in.
- Open Profile, then tap Account.
- Scroll to Danger zone.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.
Or ask us to do it
If you would rather not do it yourself — or you have lost access to your account and cannot sign in — email privacy@fullboard.gg from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account immediately and permanently erases:
- Your account and email address.
- Your profile — display name, bio, games you play, availability, home store, and your profile photo, which is removed from file storage as well as from the app.
- Tables you posted and seats you had taken.
- Your comments, community posts, and event RSVPs.
- Your direct messages — for both people, in every conversation you were part of.
- Post-game highlights and props you gave other players.
- Your friendships, the stores you follow, and your block list.
- Your check-in history.
- Your push notification registrations, so alerts stop reaching your devices.
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you is kept after deletion. Two things are worth stating plainly:
- Moderation copies are erased too. While your account exists, removing a message “for everyone” keeps a copy of the original text for up to 30 days so our admin can act on a report about it — longer if it has actually been reported. Deleting your account erases those copies along with the messages themselves.
- Server logs. Our hosting providers generate standard logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) as a normal part of operating a website, and they are retained on those providers’ own schedules rather than tied to your account. Our error monitoring is configured to receive no IP address and no personal data at all.
One thing we cannot reach: a push notification already delivered to someone’s device cannot be recalled, so it may still show text from a message you later removed.
Removing individual items, without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things. All of this is self-service, and none of it requires contacting us:
- Your profile photo — Profile → Settings (Android) or Profile → Edit profile (web) → Remove.
- Profile details — edit or clear your bio, availability, home store, and the games you play at any time.
- Your comments — delete any comment you wrote.
- Direct messages — remove a message from your own view, and for messages you sent, remove them for both people.
- Tables you posted — cancel a table you are hosting.
- Presence and notifications — turn off “share my presence” so friends cannot see your check-ins, and turn push notifications off entirely.
